Fraction Recipe Project
1. Give a 3 to 5 sentence description of the project. Use the Standard as a reference.
In this project I had to make a poster that used a recipe to show that I could use fractions to divide.
2. Tell what you did first, second and third to complete and do well on the project?
First, I chose the recipe to make guacamole. Second, I used the internet to find the recipe. Third, I wrote my recipe on a poster board and I drew a picture of an avocado. I put the title of the recipe and had to show a problem where I divided fractions.
3. In 2-3 sentences write down what you liked about and could improve on this assignment.
I liked that I drew the avocados. If I could improve anything I would show my work when dividing fractions and add more facts.
4. In 1-2 sentences to describe how you will use the skills you learned in doing this project out in either the real world, when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
In this project I learned to read a recipe and use the fractions to pick my ingredients so I could make guacamole. I can use this again with another recipe.
